Marriott’s Phuket Beach Club is on the same ground as JW Marriott and it shares everything with that resort. The only difference is that you don’t have the same breakfast buffet and that the rooms might differ between the resorts. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment which was perfect for our family of five. I really like the closeness to the beach, that you have some cheap restaurants on the beach and a small shopping center within walking distance. We stayed for 4 nights which was perfect, after that we were quite done with the resort. Beautiful gardens between the houses and nice grass area between the resort and the beach were you can lay in the sun or play volleyball. I wouldn’t say that either this or JW is a real luxury resort, but they are definitely clean and good enough.

We stayed in a 2 bed apartment which was situated on the edge of the resort. Very peaceful. Loved the beach. It was empty - no rows of sun-loungers and no other hotels could be seen. Quiet, and with lovely views. Paddle boarding, kayaking and body-boarding available too with friendly helpful staff on hand. 3 pools. One adult only, one with kids slide, but big enough for adults too and one very quiet one for both adults and kids. Breakfast was great - loads of choice. Masks were worn by all staff and most of the guests. Food in the resort was pricey, but as expected. There is a little shopping area just around the corner so cheap snacks, drinks and food could be obtained there. We ate out there a couple of times too. Lovely gardens, kids games area, kids club and spa. For a beach holiday, we had a lovely time. We also hired a car to visit the rest of the island. And did a boat trip to neighbouring islands.

It’s so wonderful to have met such a beautiful soul in the heart of Phuket Island. Upon check-in, we already knew that we would be in excellent hands. Oy did a sensational job in arranging all of our accommodations including our hotel stay, hotel to airport transportation and especially our elephant experience. Her level of professionalism far exceeds typical customer care. She treated each and every one of us like her family. She literally made it her mission to guarantee us having the most amazing time in Thailand. I have traveled to many places, and I haven’t yet met a concierge staff that can match Oy’s standards. She really is the personification of customer service. Her level of care is second to none as she single-handedly made sure my family had the best Thai experience. Great beachfront location, quiet area outside the main Phuket tourist trap. Lovely pools & facilities, staff very friendly, very spacious room, nice large & quiet beach with other "local" beachfront dining options & good cheap beach massages. We maybe got lucky due to Covid & things being very quiet in general!

awesome villa in a nice quite part of Phuket. Staff where fantastic. Also great to have a 711 across the street and only 5-10 mins walk away is a small village with shops and restaurants with a fab pub.

Marriott Phuket Beach Mai Khao is a slice of heaven with the most beautiful beach and clear water. The service, facilities and rooms were 5 star.
